What are ENZYMES?

Enzymes are the bodies labor-force. They are the active construction and demolition teams that work 24 hours a day to maintain health and balance in your body. Whithout enzymes we would be a worthless pile of lifeless chemical substances, vitamins, minerals, protein and water.

What can ENZYMES do for us?

All our life processes depend on enzyme function. When enzymes are depleted, so is our vital force and health. We are home to hundreds of different kinds of enzymes, each absolutely necessary for total health. Enzymes are perhaps more important than any other active element as an aid to digestion and health. The body cannot heal itself of infections, or have healthy blood without them.

Proper utilization of nutrients and vitamins, cannot occur without the presence of enzymes. Vitamins often serve as co-enzymes producing many reactions which promote digestion and other funtions of the body.

One of the most valuable needs for enzymes is to help process iron, which carries oxygen all over the body to be deposited in the billions of skin tissue and brain cells.

What are the causes and consequences of ENZYME deficiency?

In cooked foods, 100% of the enzyms are destroyed, approximately 70 to 85% of the vitamins are destroyed, pesticides and fungicides break down to form toxic compounds, protein is 50% less assimilable because of coagulation, and there is an increase in free radical production. The body compensates by depleting it's own reserves of enzymes. Most people have brittle bones due to lack of enzymes in cooked and denatured foods. Lack of enzymes is also a major contributing factor in the development of leukemia.

What are good sources of ENZYMES?

Enzymes are easily derived through easy-to-digest nourishment found in living foods which are foods grown on healthy composted soil that are specially prepared through blending, sprouting, fermenting and small amounts of juicing. No cooking.

The most important enzymes that have been isolated in living foods are:

cytochrome oxidase, and antioxidant required for proper cell respiration;
lipase, a fat-splitting enzyme;
protease, a protein digesting enzyme;
amylase, an enzyme that facilitates starch digestion;
catalase, catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen in the
blood and tissues;
peroxidase, works in a similar manner to catalase on a cellular level;
transhydrogenase, an enzyme that aids in keeping the muscle of the heart toned;
SOD, super oxide dismutase, an enzyme that prevents aging.

It is urgent that we turn to life-giving enzyme rich foods that are packed with life sustaining energy to ensure our survival
