We are truly a four season location, with bright greens in spring, cool summer breezes, brilliant fall colors, and beautiful winter vistas suitable for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.

The view of the front of the Inn, after you have driven up the long driveway. We are set far back from the road, surrounded by tranquil fields and woods. Our 130 acres surrounds you with peaceful serenity, or provides you with opportunities for endless exploration.

We've been here 12 years now, and our recent RENOVATIONS are done at Maple Hill Farm! All our rooms now have private baths, some have gas fireplaces, HUGE whirlpool tubs big enough for two to totally relax…as well as private decks with a beautiful view of the hills to the east. A new "Porte Cochere" will greet you, and keep you dry as you arrive at our new front porch entrance and unique front desk constructed of famous Hallowell granite found right here at the Farm


Many rooms with FIREPLACES, HUGE DOUBLE WHIRLPOOL TUBS and/or PRIVATE DECKS ! Perfectly suited for the business traveler, too, with phones, dataports, TV/VCR hidden in armoires, FAX service, Full Bar Service, and a hearty early breakfast available to start your day after a serene night's sleep.


Our spacious rooms are furnished with comfortable country antiques. All rooms have private baths, air conditioning, individual thermostat controlled heat, phones, color T.V. and VCRs (sorry, no cable TV but we get great reception on top of Maple Hill!). Several rooms have fireplaces, private decks, and WHIRLPOOL TUBS, some of which are HUGE and offer space for two to luxuriate. We offer full liquor service, complimentary coffee, tea, and home-baked goodies in the evenings. A full country breakfast will be custom cooked for you off our menu anytime between 7 and 9 a.m., and is included in your room rate. You are guaranteed not to go hungry after one of our famous breakfasts, which feature Eggs Benedict Arnold or Wild Maine Blueberry Pancakes with pure maple syrup from the woods of northern Maine, among many other choices. Our eggs are right from the farm, and taste great since the chickens range free throughout the barnyard.

While we have one cat in residence (Maxine, all black except for a small white spot) who we do not allow in the guest rooms for those who have allergies, we have a farm animal menagerie in the barn down by the road.
