Food
Breakfast A continental breakfast is included in the cost of the double suites. The breakfast consists of lots of freshly prepared tropical fruit, cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt, cheese, toast, croissants, muffins/pastries, tea and coffee. I can cater for gluten free and other special diets if given advance notice. For the self-catering cottage a continental breakfast costs R35 per person if required.
I do a cooked vegetarian or vegan breakfast at R50 per person, in addition to the above this consists of smoked tofu, veggie sausages, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and scrambled tofu or free range eggs (please let me know the day before if a cooked veggie/vegan breakfast is required).
Vegetarian/Vegan I am a Cordon Vert Stage 3 chef (UK Vegetarian Society) taking my final exam in October 2004. I am very happy to provide vegetarian and vegan snacks or a full 3 course dinner. The dinner is made with seasonal fresh local ingredients where possible and is strictly vegetarian or vegan. If you are a vegetarian on holiday in SA I am sure you are fed up with feta cheese and the awful vegetable platter by now! These are definitely not included in my menu. Main course R50, Starters and desserts R30 each. Below are some examples of menus, but the menu varies according to what is in season.
