Best of the West! A one week national parks adventure offered April and May, Sept and Oct. This trip is good for all physical abilities/levels.
Trip Highlights A great hiking/walking adventure exploring Utah's best National Parks! This great adventure lets you wander through the wonders of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Arches National Park, Utah's Canyonlands, Moab, and the Colorado River!
Day 1 Depart Salt Lake City! We start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Salt Lake City. We'll prep you for your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to our first destination… Day 2 Zion NP…Wake to the towering sandstone walls and waterfalls of this magnificent park. Hike the world famous Narrows, the trail to the Emerald Pools or climb the magnificent Angels Landing Trail. Enjoy a short drive to campout at a lake near our next great park… Day 3 Bryce Canyon NP… Almost out of a fairy tale, it's nothing like you've ever seen! Spend the day walking among the Hoo Doos of Bryce! An amazing maze of ancient rose-colored pillars of red sand and stone. Later it’s a cookout and a soak under the stars at Mystic Hotsprings!
Day 4 Arches NP… Spend the day hiking among the giant natural sandstone arches sculpted by wind and time in the Devils Garden. There is no other place like this in the world! From there it’s on to Moab! Enjoy a delicious dinner at the Moab Brewery.
Day 5 Colorado River Adventure! Raft, canoe or kayak through the high red cliffs carved by the Colorado River. Day 6 A Free Day in Moab Utah! This is a free day allowing us to enjoy the galleries and cafes of Moab, rent a jeep or a horse to explore the canyons. Another great night under the starry Utah skies complete with a campfire and roasting marshmallows!
Day 7 Shhhh! We’ll hike to a local secret canyon past amazing waterfalls, and along the bottom of 1000ft sandstone cliffs to discover fantastic petroglyphs and pictographs of the ancient Freemont and Anasazi Indians. Cool off from the hike with a swim in a natural sandstone carved pool. Day 8 We'll roll back into Salt Lake City by noon, and say our goodbyes.
Trip Dates And Pricing $925 Departs and returns to Salt Lake City. Trip price includes all park entrance fees, camping fees and 70% of the meals. 2008 Dates
