Pura Vida, meaning Pure Life, is located on a private estate of tropical splendor, atop a mountain in Costa Rica's Alajuela province. It is surrounded by coffee plantations yet surprisingly only 20 minutes from the International airport at San Jose. The year round temperature averages 73 degrees during the day and nights are mild.
