Inn on Main Street offers seven rooms with private baths, and most of them with gas fireplaces. King, queen, double and twin beds are available. In-season rates are in effect from March 30 to Jan. 1, and on the weekends surrounding Valentine's Day.

The Monroe Room, on the second floor, features lovely oak furnishings with hand-carved and inlaid details, a double bed and private bath with a shower. This romantic room has the nicest view of the mountains.
The Ayers and Lee rooms, both located in the main house, are available in either king or twin bed configurations, to suit the needs of our guests. Both have new gas fireplaces in original mantels. The Ayers room includes a huge private bath with tub and shower, and ample space to unpack and relax. Furnishings include an antique dresser, loveseat and maple desk. The Lee, named for the Confederate general, is furnished with a loveseat and desk, and has a private bath with a shower. It is only steps from the front porch, making it popular with those who don't wish to climb stairs. Price includes full breakfast.
The Kiser and Robinson rooms, both located in the main house, each come with queen beds and private baths with showers. The Robinson bath also has an antique enamel tub and vanity created from an old medical instruments cabinet. The Robinson furnishings include a wicker rocking chair, settee and desk, with a freestanding gas fireplace for warmth and ambience. The Kiser Room is furnished in mahogany, with a pair of Napoleonic armchairs upholstered in red velvet and an Empire style dresser/desk. Both are popular with honeymooners and those celebrating anniversaries. . Price includes full breakfast.
The Robinson Room, next to the back porch, has an airy, tropical feel.
The Kiser Room features a massive mahogany bed in an octagonal bay room.
The Forest and Garden rooms each feature high-backed wooden queen beds, gas fireplaces, air conditioning, TVs and a private bath with a whirlpool tub for two. These rooms are especially popular with couples who want to come and go at odd hours and long-term visitors who enjoy the privacy and independence of quarters away from the main house. These rooms are separated from the main house by a garden path, but are connected by roofed porches.
The Garden Room, like the Forest, has a high-backed queen wooden bed and a bathroom that includes a whirlpool tub for two.
The Forest Room has country touches, including pine paneling and handmade quilts.
Two-night minimum required for weekend stays between March 30 and Jan. 1, plus holidays. Three night minimum required on October weekends and some holiday weekends. Deposit equal to half the total bill required, refundable (minus a $25 processing fee) with 14 days' notice of cancellation. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash and checks accepted.
Smoking permitted on outside porches only. No pets. Not suitable for children younger than 12.
