Canyon Rim Adventures-Arizona
Vegetarian and Gay friendly-Grand Canyon, Arizona

We specialize in deluxe all-inclusive catered outdoor camping vacations to unfrequented places on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our vacations include combinations of hiking, sightseeing, and mountain biking. As the only outfitter operating exclusively in this area, our experience and knowledge combined with our attention to detail, professional guides, state of the art camping equipment, and gourmet meals enable us to provide you an exciting, safe, and relaxing vacation.

The only requirement on all of our trips is the desire to have a great time. No prior experience is needed as we use van support for whenever our clients get tired. (Backpacking trips excluded.)

We have a 12 person maximum per trip. We feel that allows us to offer our guests a much more intimate experience, combined with a great adventure!

To any group of 8 or more people, we can also create a private tour to meet your specific needs.

Company Background

With over 5 million visitors to the Grand Canyon each year, and an average of 100-200 bus tours arriving at the South Rim viewing areas and parking lots each day, Canyon Rim Adventures, Inc. was created to offer an alternative visit for our guests. Our professional guides have a first-hand familiarity with many lesser-known areas based on up to 16 years of guiding and exploring in the Grand Canyon. During these years, we have discovered that with over 300 miles of rim on each side, there is plenty of opportunity for solitude while enjoying the same majesty and splendor that other visitors see over the confinement of a guardrail with gift shops and bus fumes in the background.

We are a licensed outfitter through the National Park Service, the Kaibab National Forest, and the Bureau of Land Management.

Our guides take pride in being people-oriented. We enjoy catering to our guests needs, and seeing the satisfaction that experiencing this area brings to others. Each of us is also an outdoor enthusiast, contributing our own talents and expertise at interpreting geology, history, plants, wildlife, as well as having a love for camping, biking, hiking, and many other outdoor activities.

Our Mission

To provide the opportunity to experience the diversity of the Grand Canyon in a personalized way that promotes an appreciation of nature, one's self, and our role as caretakers of our world.
