Q : What is Adventurebus and is it for me?
A : AB is a unique and affordable, down to earth way to travel to great places. Our converted Adventurebus’ comfortably sleep up to 20 people. If you like the outdoors, an easygoing atmosphere, relaxed travel schedules and neat people, then AB is for you!
Q : Am I Too Old to ride AB/What is the Average age?
A : Travelers in their 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's are the majority but we have had fun folks as old as 69 on our trips. It's all about how young your heart is. We welcome everyone's diversity, knowledge and experience.
Q : What do we bring?

Q : When should I book my Adventure?
A : The sooner the better. Sometimes we reach our space limits months prior to departure. Always call us to check availability.
Q : Will I find my 'True Love' on the Adventurebus?
A : We can only guarantee you a hug or a handshake from your drivers at the end of the trip, but perhaps, as many relationships have transpired upon our wonderful journeys.
Q : What's included in the price?
A : Transportation, all state and national park fees, 70% of your food, a cozy bus bed, and lifelong memories (mountain bike trips include bonus cuts, bruises, and a sore bum).
Q : Do we have to sleep on the bus?
A : Only on night drives. On campout nights most people take the cushions off the bus beds and sleep out under the stars. There are also tents available for those afraid of creepy crawly things or other people.
Q : Do we sleep lying down?
A : Yes. Adventurebus is a redesigned full size coach that will accommodate and sleep up to 20 people lying down or 150 of those little circus clowns...300 if you stack em'.
Q : How many people are on the Adventures?
A : Groups usually run between 12 and 15 people.
Q : Is there a Bathroom on the bus?
A : There's no bathroom and no bathroom 'smell' on the bus. We utilize the campgrounds at which we stop, rest stops, and other facilities for smoke breaks and bathroom stops whenever the need arises.
Q : What about showers?
A : There's no shower on the bus and a shower cannot be guaranteed everyday. We utilize campgrounds and shower facilities along our adventure routes as often as necessary.
Q : Where do you depart from?
A : Trips depart Salt Lake City or Las Vegas.
Q : I’m traveling alone/Is it a safe trip for single women?
A : Traveling in a group is perfect for the single female traveler. Because of how we travel, a quick bond is made and everyone looks out for each other.
Q : Can my kids come?
A : Kids are welcome on AB with the understanding that they will be exposed to different things onboard Adventurebus than they would experience at Disneyland or watching cartoons on Saturday mornings.
Q : Can I bring my Dog?
A : Sorry, pets are not allowed. May of the National Parks that we visit do not allow pets on the trails.
Q : How physically fit do I have to be?
A : Our trips are as easy or hard as you to make them. If you want to hike, bike or swim all day, you will find others that will want to do the same. Just as easily, you can sit under a big tree, relax and read a book.
Q : Alone time...Do I have to stay with the group?
A : When we arrive at our destination you're welcome to hang out with your new bus friends or take off on your own.
Q: How does the food fund work?
A : The food fund is required and covers roughly 70% of your food. Drivers orchestrate the meals and you help out if you like. On drive or big city days, we stop at cool little café's and restaurants where you’ll buy your own meal.
Q: The Food/ I'm a vegetarian/vegan.
A : The food is Excellent! Vegetarians are easily accommodated. We do bean burritos, and pesto pastas, stir-fries and veggie chilis. On the occasion that we utilize meat, there will be alternatives. Meals can easily be adapted to meet vegan guidelines.
Q : Can I bring my toys?
A : We can carry mountain/road bikes, kayaks, wind surfers, surfboards, scuba equipment, mother in laws (must ride in baggage compartment and have own food/water dish) and three toed sloth's. In any case please let us know what you are bringing above and beyond the norm so we can allot the space.
Q: Alcohol on the AB?
A : Sometimes yes and sometimes no. We adhere to the guidelines set forth by the FHA and DOT in each area we travel through.
Q : Smoking on the AB
A : Smoking is not allowed on the AB. You may smoke anytime you are off the bus.
Q : Can I rent a sleeping bag or a bike?
A : AB has both sleeping bags and bicycles for rent if you need one. Check reservation form for pricing.
Q : Access to a phone/email?
A : There are usually phones available each day for those addicted to their messages and even an occasional Internet café in some of the towns we visit to get your e-fix. Phones and digital camaras can be charged on the bus.
Q : Spending money/ATM's & MAC's
A : $10-20 per day suggested for extra meals and the optional group activities i.e. rafting, horseback rides or a movie. ATM's- There are always ATM's available in the states within a day or so.
