HOT RIVERSTONE MASSAGE
Hot riverstone massage is the most recent addition to our menu of services. Smooth, glassy stones are heated in water with essential oils added to it. The massage therapist uses the stones as an extension of the hands, allowing them to work at deeper levels with the added benefit of lingering heat. Guests report feelings of warmth, comfort and relaxation. Aches and pains are diminished creating a feeling of physical well-being. 50 minutes - $65.00
SPORTS MASSAGE
Dynamic deep muscle massage increases circulation and flexibility while reducing soreness. Recommended for those with a challenging class schedule. 50 minutes - $60.00
REFLEXOLOGY
Gentle massage applied to specific pressure points on the feet reduces fatigue and restores energy flow throughout the entire body. 30 minutes - $35.00
BODY TREATMENTS
Body treatments, now used at spas worldwide, date back to 1940 at Rancho La Puerta. Edmond Szekely, anxious to find an aid for the aches and muscle spasms that afflicted guests unaccustomed to exercise, adapted this favorite technique of Father Sebastian Kneipp, who was known as the "father of hydrotherapy." Herbal and aromatherapy 'wraps' often reduce muscle spasm, decrease lactic acid build-up, intensify circulation and relax overly tense muscles. Body and mind ease into the deepest form of relaxation.
RANCHO LA PUERTA HERBAL WRAP
Steaming hot linens are boiled with traditional Native American herbs then wrapped around the body. A blanket and overlay then captures heat. A soothing, cold compress applied to the forehead is a wonderful inducement to dozing. 30 minutes - $35.00
AROMATHERAPY WRAP
The same process as Rancho La Puerta's herbal wrap except the hot linens are steeped in fragrant herbal and floral essential oils. 30 minutes - $40.00 / 50 minutes - $50.00
SEAWEED WRAP
A purifying, cleansing treatment similar to our renowned herbal wrap, except that seaweed is the principal element of the diffusion. Circulation improves and skin cells function with greater efficiency. 30 minutes - $40.00
HYDROTHERAPY MASSAGE

HAPPY HANDS AND FEET

SPRING RAIN SHOWER AND SEAWEED SCRUB

EUROPEAN DEEP CLEANSING FACIAL

AROMATHERAPY FACIAL
Everything offered during a Golden Door Facial with lotions created from the purest flower and plant botanical oils to promote skin healing and regeneration. This ancient technique, perfected through time, is experiencing a well-deserved revival. 50 minutes - $60.00
