Rancho La Puerta is renowned for its freshly picked produce and basic nutritious natural foods. We have developed, tested and proven hundreds of recipes since 1940. Almost sixty years of experimentation and research have culminated in a superb all-natural-food diet, low in fat, sodium and refined flour and sugar and high in energy, fiber, and complex carbohydrates. Lacto-ovo vegetarian, the Ranch diet also includes servings of fresh fish twice each week.
Lovely Rancho Tres Estrellas (Ranch of Three Stars), is the site of the bountiful organic gardens that provide a large portion of the spa dining room's super-fresh vegetables and fruits.
What more can we say? With a cookbook that has accumulated hundreds of recipes since 1940, offerings will vary. Second helpings and alternate entrees are always available. Wine and Tecate Beer are served Friday at dinner to toast a successful week.
